Shift Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth. Duties:

  • Manage the daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and production.
  • Implement and maintain high-quality standards for food, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering, ensuring that all food and supplies are available when needed.
  • Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer concerns and addressing any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize operations.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring that staffing levels are adequate to meet customer demands while maintaining profitability.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, production, and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of cash handling.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and management systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
